Job Description

The counsellor provides trauma‑informed, evidence‑based individual and group counselling within a multidisciplinary treatment setting. This role supports clients experiencing eating disorders and related mental‑health concerns, including co‑occurring issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. This role includes case coordination, ongoing assessment, collaborative care planning, and communication with families and external supports.
The counsellor participates as an active member of the interdisciplinary team and contributes to patient‑centered care planning and aftercare coordination.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide individual counselling, education, and ongoing assessment using evidence‑based modalities such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness‑based interventions, CPT, interpersonal therapy, and trauma‑informed care.
