Description

As a member of the Resource Team, you have the opportunity to care for patients on all our in-patient units as well as at the Clinical Evaluation Center. The variety of work assignments affords a rich learning experience. A comprehensive orientation is provided.

Under direction of the Registered Nurse, the MHS provides direct patient care and participates in therapeutic milieu. Successful candidate will provide accurate and timely documentation on progress notes, and observation sheets. Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients, maintaining professional boundaries. Identifies patient behaviors that contribute to the development of a crisis; utilizes non-verbal and verbal techniques to de-escalate crisis situation.
