Operating with a high degree of autonomy under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, the MHT III not only maintains a safe, trauma-informed therapeutic environment but also serves as a milieu leader. This role is critical in modeling advanced behavioral interventions, mentoring staff, coordinating daily shift programming for highly acute individuals, and executing specialized medical and technical support procedures within the crisis center under the delegation of licensed personnel.
