**Job Description**

The Mental Health Therapist will provide assessments, individual counseling, release planning, and other behavioral health supports to inmates at the Penobscot County Jail as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team including master’s level clinicians, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and substance use counselor. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Are looking to hire for both full time and part time clinicians, and scheduling can be flexible.

Must have a valid State of Maine driver’s license and automobile liability coverage of $100,000/$300,000.
