Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MEP Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes, and site requirements. The role requires close coordination with engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure accuracy and constructability of drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD or relevant drafting software.
Develop drawings for HVAC, firefighting, electrical, lighting, power, low-current, plumbing, and drainage systems.
Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and civil drawings to avoid clashes.
Incorporate comments and revisions received from consultants, engineers, and clients.
Assist in MEP coordination and clash detection before execution.
