MEP Shop Drawing Coordinator

Coordinate and review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing shop drawings. Ensure drawings are clash-free, compliant with design specifications, and ready for execution. Maintain drawing logs and revision history.

Lead interdisciplinary coordination meetings between MEP trades and other disciplines.

Identify and resolve design conflicts or constructability issues through clash detection using BIM tools.

Ensure all MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, process piping, controls) are properly integrated.

Support site engineers and supervisors with up-to-date drawings and installation details.

Ensure all MEP work is performed safely and in accordance with company safety policies.

Maintain updated logs for MEP shop drawings, RFIs, material submittals, and approvals. 

Document all coordination issues and design changes through formal communication channels.
