Job Description

The role
The Merchandiser is responsible for delivering the planned sales and profitability of their department by managing and optimizing the categories through effective planning and trading.
What you’ll be doing (key responsibilities)
Deliver the planned sales and profitability of your department by managing and optimizing the categories through effective planning and trading
Regular analysis of department performance to maximize commercial opportunities
Monthly sales forecast analysis to determine OTB opportunity and provide feedback for future buys
Through strategic planning and trading of the department manage the intake and OTB to deliver the inventory targets for the department and the brand
Category ownership within quarterly buys: analysing sales, product selection, sales/ST% forecasting and buy planning in line with OTB. Presenting results to senior team for sign off
