Merchandiser

Merchandisers are in charge of point-of-purchase and shelf management services. Given the nature and environment of S & L Fine Foods, Inc., merchandisers are expected to:



● Be at least a High School Graduate.



● Develop and create different merchandising strategies that balance the company’s objectives and customers’ expectations.



● Analyze and examine market trends, sales figures, and customers reactions, to infer and anticipate product needs and plan product ranges or stock, and consequently, forecast profits, plan budgets, monitor stock movement, and keep track of markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc..



● Produce and boost sales through profitable layouting of food products within the retail outlet to reach target sales, and by extension, maximize customer interest and purchase through appropriate displays.
