Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

Investment Analyst Location: Montreal, Full time in office Valnet is seeking a highly analytical and driven Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to help run the acquisition lifecycle and to manage our internal investments.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

This person will report directly to the Head of M&A and will work closely with our Brands and the rest of the leadership team in regards to future and potential acquisitions.

Responsibilities: Co-lead the entire acquisition lifecycle: sound knowledge of the competitive landscape, sourcing, pipeline growth, capital deployment, valuation, negotiating, assisting counsel with purchase agreement drafting, integration/management (operations): with the ultimate objective of driving results in line with IRR expectations.
