Metallurgist: Operations Manager/Director

There is a challenging opportunity for a Metallurgist: Operations Manager/Director, based in the Gauteng Province. My client is part of a group of companies active for the past 35 years in adding value in the precious metals value chain. The role will require management of the processing of a wide range of material inputs from spent catalysts to intermediates to produce platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium and iridium sponge, metal or compounds, within quality specifications on time every time.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Chemical Engineering or Chemistry Degree

•Minimum 15 years relevant experience.

•PGM Operations: 10 years (Required)

•10 years PGM refinery experience required

•5 years expeirecne at an operations level position
