Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a METEOROLOGICAL TECHNICIAN-Title 5, Position Description Number 9G399 and is part of the WI CRTC, Wisconsin Air National Guard. Responsibilities Analyzes climatic regimes, geography, terrain, weather system characteristics, centralized weather products, and indigenous surface and upper air reports to forecast weather conditions for takeoff, enroute, and destinations, and air refueling tracks for locations worldwide. Discusses the location, intensity, movement and development potential of weather features. Solves a variety of meteorological problems with other production personnel. Modifies forecasts developed by other activities to provide information on exact conditions expected to be encountered by the aircraft for projected timeframe for the area of operation.
