Meter Technician

The Meter Technician performs field service work involving the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of parking meters, pay stations, and related payment equipment across assigned service areas. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and communication system issues; replacing defective components; conducting preventive maintenance; and performing operational testing to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

The role requires responding to routine and emergency service calls, maintaining accurate service records, and ensuring all equipment operates in compliance with company and municipal standards.
