Metrologist III

The Metrologist III focuses on creating accurate, dependable CMM programs and supporting teams in establishing measurable, well‑defined specifications across both New Product Development (NPD) and Sustaining projects. The metrology specialist advises on appropriate measurement methods and dimensioning practices to ensure requirements can be verified reliably. This cross‑functional role ensures measurement approaches are practical, consistent, and fit for purpose throughout the product lifecycle, while managing multiple projects and meeting tight development and production timelines.

• Program, operate, and troubleshoot CMMs using optical, hybrid, and tactile probe systems.
• Develop robust measurement methods, including setup design, uncertainty awareness, and selection of appropriate measurement techniques.
