We’re seeking a performance drive MGU (Motor Generator Unit E-Motor) Lead to join our ERS (Energy Recovery System) Team in Concord, NC. In this critical leadership role, you’ll lead the design, integration, and optimization of the Motor Generator Unit (MGU) e-motor system, focusing on high-speed performance, efficiency, structural integrity, rotor-stator dynamics, thermal management, and mechanical reliability under extreme racing conditions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in electromagnetics, mechanical design, power electronics, controls, thermal management, and manufacturing to optimize MGU packaging and performance within the hybrid powertrain while adhering to FIA technical regulations.
