Microbiologist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental swabs.
• Develop, improve, and validate cleaning and sanitation procedures for all plant operations.
• Implement and maintain the facility's environmental monitoring program.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and overall food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Troubleshoot microbiological or sanitation-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Qualifications

• BS Biology major in Microbiology or BS Microbiology graduate.
• 3–5 years of experience in a microbiology role within food manufacturing or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, GMP, and microbial control.
