Microbiologist

Basic Function: Performs water, food, microbial limit testing of pharmaceutical, cosmetics & veterinary samples and environmental monitoring using microbiological methods.
Responsibilities
Prepares culture media and reagents used in the analysis.
Performs collection of water and environmental samples (swab and microbial air quality) on client's establishments/premises.
Participates in quality programs such as proficiency, inter-, intra-lab testing, blind and parallel testing.
