Microbiologist – Product Development & Scale-Up

We are seeking an experienced Microbiologist to develop and scale-up fermentation-based active ingredients from lab to commercial production. The role involves strain optimization, media development, process control, and downstream processing to ensure high yield and stability. The candidate will troubleshoot scale-up challenges and support product performance and shelf-life studies. Strong expertise in industrial microbiology and hands-on fermentation experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Optimization

• Develop and optimize microbiology-based active products (enzymes, probiotics, prebiotics, bioactives, fermentation-derived actives)
• Strain handling, maintenance, and performance optimization
• Media optimization for yield, stability, and cost reduction
• Process parameter optimization (pH, temperature, aeration, agitation, time)
