About the team The Smart Grid Technology Lab’s research focuses on Power electronics, Energy Management Systems and other Smart Grid Technologies, applying the latest technology to the digital power industry. The lab has become a research organization with many significant industry achievements. 
About the job Design, simulate, implement, and maintain microgrid control and protection systems. 
Produce and review protection and control schemes, functional design specifications, support technical requirement formulations and stakeholder discussions. 
Design, develop and test microgrid protection and control logics, communication, and APIs for EMS / SCADA integration. 
Support hardware and software integration of protection and control systems, with interoperability on protocol stacks such as IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850 MMS, Goose, DNP3, ...
