Microscopy Specialist

Mission

We are looking for a microscopy and imaging specialist for the BioImaging & Optics platform (BIOP) at the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Microscope user support and training, including for state‑of‑the‑art, high‑end instruments.
• Image processing and analysis user support.
• Instrument adaptation and development for user projects.
• Instrument maintenance and repair support.
• Participate in teaching tasks of the team.

Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a Master's or PhD degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field, who has proven competence in microscopy and solid knowledge of image processing.
