Microsoft Fabric Data Architect

Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions on Microsoft Fabric. Work directly with business and functional teams to understand processes, KPIs, data pain points, and translate them into actionable data models, pipelines, and Fabric assets.
Hands-on ownership of end-to-end data architecture and implementation across Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Data Factory Pipelines & Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks/Spark).
Design and build medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), including schema design, delta tables, partition strategy, performance optimization, and conformed enterprise data models.
Develop batch and near-real-time ingestion pipelines from databases, APIs, and file-based sources; implement CDC, SCD Type 1/2, audit columns, and upsert logic using Fabric Data Pipelines and Spark.
