We’re hiring a Microsoft Purview Data Security Consultant to support an assessment‑only data security engagement for a major enterprise. This role focuses on using Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 insight tooling to understand how sensitive data is created, shared, and exposed across the organisation — without any configuration or policy enforcement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Identifying sensitive data concentrations, oversharing, external collaboration exposure, and stale/high‑risk content.
• Conducting identity‑driven risk analysis , including elevated access patterns and external sharing behaviour.
• Performing a limited on‑premise proof‑of‑discovery across selected file repositories.
