POSITION: Middle School Principal


REPORTS TO: Superintendent


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree required

  • Previous middle school teaching experience preferred

  • Michigan Administrative Certification required

  • Previous administrative experience preferred

  • Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)

  • Knowledge of the Danielson Framework for Teaching

  • Background in blended learning/technology integration

  • Understanding of Michigan State Standards

  • Experience with Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports

    • RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Building-level curriculum and instructional leadership

  • Hiring, staff development, supervision, and evaluation

  • Developing school and staff schedules
