Midwife Specialist - Maternity Clinical Information System

Location: Wellington Regional Hospital, Hutt Hospital and Masterton Hospital

Contract: Permanent, Part Time – 18 hours per week (0.45 FTE)

Role Overview

This midwife specialist role focuses on the Maternity Clinical Information System (MCIS – BadgerNet Maternity). The post holder will provide expert clinical support and ensure clinical safety, data quality and user adoption of the platform across Capital, Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa Maternity Services.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical, operational and technical teams to maintain and enhance MCIS.
• Ensure data quality and user acceptance of the BadgerNet Maternity system.
• Develop and deliver ongoing training and support for staff and Lead Maternity Carers (LMC).
