Military and Family Life Counselor - Assignment Ready Counselor

These positions provide short-term support to the MFLC program either working on a base with military members and their families or in local schools with high populations of military families attending. Candidates must be local to either Camp Lejeune, Camp Geiger, MCAS New River, MCAS Cherry Point, Fort Bragg, or Seymour Johnson AFB or be willing to relocate to become local. Candidates must be licensed at the independent level as a Social Worker ( LCSW ), Therapist ( LMFT ), or Mental Health Counselor (LPC/ LCHMC ).


The Assignment Ready Counselor (ARC) will provide coverage in short-term, surge and on demand situations resulting from the Military needs such as a post-deployment event or to cover an existing assignment for counselors who are absent. The Summer ARC counselor position covers assignments during the May 15th through September 15th time period, coinciding with the school summer break.
