TITLE: Millwright - 40 HoursDEPARTMENT: Facility Services REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Grounds, Facility Services SUMMARY: With minimal direction the millwright performs safety inspections and mechanical maintenance to school district equipment. The millwright works cooperatively with other employees, students and the public. DUTIES: Diagnoses problems with school, shop and maintenance equipment. Installs, repairs and maintains shop equipment such as milling machines, metal and wood lathes, bandsaws, drill press planers, joiners scroll saws, grinders and metal and wood vises, dust extractors, air compressors, vehicle service hoists, motorized wall dividers and other equipment. Maintains accurate preventative maintenance records of equipment. Orders parts and supplies. Effectively organizes workload.
