The role

The Mining Activity Engineer reports to the Section Manager Planning.

Responsibilities Compiling designs, detailed plans and short-term schedules for major mining activities on the mine Compiling of weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual reconciliations as part of compliance to plan reporting Supply required information for weekly marketing and management plans Assist in compiling weekly review (planning) meetings presentation(s), as well as the monthly planning meeting Liaising with other Activity Engineers with regards to integration of mine plans Liaising with various other departments including, but not limited, Survey, Geology, Environmental, Mining, Metallurgy and Engineering Assist with annual budget/LOM process Qualifications National Diploma / Degree in Mining Engineering OR Relevant Opencast mining qualifications WITH reco...
