PURPOSE:

To be responsible for safe receipt and dispatch of explosives within the legal requirements.

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY:

• Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
• Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk
• Participate and comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
• Utilise the Integrated Management System (IMS) to initiate and report SHEQ status

CUSTOMERS:

• Ensure customer satisfaction

BUSINESS PROCESSES:

• Compliance to regulation as for shaft head delivery bay
• Accountable for stock control and monitoring of levels of explosives in the respective area
• Ensures that these are off-loaded and packed in the magazine in an orderly, secure and safe manner
