Job Description

SMS Equipment is seeking a knowledgeable and customer‑focused Mining Dozer Technical Specialist (internally titled Technical Support Specialist) to support mining operations through expert troubleshooting, equipment performance analysis, and hands‑on technical guidance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, reliable, and high‑performing operation of Komatsu mining dozers, including D375 and D475 models.
Work Location: Elkford, BC
Salary: $115,000 to $122,000 annually.
Work arrangement: Hybrid – providing the flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
Travel: This position will be required to occasionally travel to Timmins, ON and Wabush, NL.
Schedule: Monday to Friday.
