Job Description

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL APPLICATIONS

CLOSING DATE: March 2026 
DEPARTMENT: Technical Services  
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To provide, plan and direct the planning activities of the organization to maximize compliance to the strategic aims and targets of the company regarding production 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 
Grade 12 with Maths and Science is essential.  
Degree/ Diploma or Formal Qualification in Geology, Mining Engineering or Rock Engineering would be an advantage.  
Chamber of Mines Advance Certificate (Survey, Rock Engineering) Mine Overseer certificate would be an advantage.  
At least a minimum of 4 years Hard Rock Tabular Mining Related experience is essential and 2 years working experience in Mine design and scheduling is essential 
Sound knowledge of underground stope and development hybrid and conventional planning is essential.
