Job Description
EXP is seeking a Senior Civil Designer in the mining sector as an independent contractor. This role requires advanced Civil 3D skills and extensive design experience.
As a Senior Civil Designer, you will focus on creating essential engineering drawings and models for mining facilities, ensuring integration across disciplines. With a decade of design or EPCM experience, your expertise will enable effective support to the Civil engineering team and assistance for multiple projects. Regular site visits are part of the responsibilities to ensure design accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engineering drawings for waste rock and drainage
• Prepare Civil 3D models from engineering specifications
• Conduct field visits for validation and checks
• Offer technical support to the project engineering team
• Execute volumetric calculations and material take-offs
