ML / AI Engineer (Computer Vision & AWS)

VaporVM is seeking an experienced ML / AI Engineer to support the development and deployment of an advanced Healthcare AI platform focused on medical imaging analysis using modern open-source AI models and AWS cloud infrastructure.
This role is best suited for engineers experienced in production-grade ML deployment, computer vision, and scalable cloud-based AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
Fine-tune computer vision models using medical imaging datasets
Develop data preprocessing and model evaluation pipelines
Deploy ML models using AWS SageMaker endpoints
Build secure REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask
Optimize model inference performance
Implement serverless workflows using AWS Lambda
Ensure secure data handling and system reliability
Conduct testing, optimization, and documentation
Required Skills
AI / Machine Learning
Strong experience with PyTorch (2.0+)
Hands-on with Hugging Face Transformers
Model fine-tuning using LoRA / QLoRA / PEFT
