Mobile Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic

Staffinity is currently seeking Heavy Equipment Mechanics for a Canadian client located in the region of Hearst, Ontario. There are 2 positions available, in-shop and mobile. The mobile position will have 6 months of in shop training and will then involve some overnight travel. These are permanent positions with an hourly rate, benefits, RRSP, vacation and a company vehicle. The hourly rate range is $42.50-47.50. A relocation package will be provided for the right candidate. 
Responsibilities:

Attend to service calls and travel to different locations within Northern Ontario to inspect truck or do repairs.

Conduct comprehensive troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex mechanical problems efficiently.

Test, diagnose, and repair equipment including diesel/propane- powered lift trucks and heavy equipment.

Overhaul, repair, and adjust engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials, brakes, axles, and other assemblies.
