Mobile Mechanic

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

+ Performs minor and major repairs, servicing and up fitting on all types of vehicles, (cars, light truck, medium/heavy trucks and truck trailers) including mounted vehicle attachments (cranes, hirail, gensets etc.) and material handling equipment.

+ Uses electric and oxy-acetylene welding equipment, and other vehicle repair tools to perform repairs.

+ Records details on prescribed forms in accordance with established procedures.

+ Assist at Fleet Management garage in times of operational needs.

+ Stock the necessary parts in the service vehicle to do the job and keep inventory as required to perform the necessary repairs in the field
+ When on duty, will carry a cell phone and remain available at all times by end user or garage supervisor.

+ Complete a Mobile Mechanic Weekly Planner and submit it to the garage supervisor for review prior to the following scheduled workweek.
