Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities: 
Performs minor and major repairs, servicing and up fitting on all types of vehicles, (cars, light truck, medium/heavy trucks and truck trailers) including mounted vehicle attachments (cranes, hirail, gensets etc.) and material handling equipment. 
Uses electric and oxy-acetylene welding equipment, and other vehicle repair tools to perform repairs. 
Records details on prescribed forms in accordance with established procedures. 
Assist at Fleet Management garage in times of operational needs. 
Stock the necessary parts in the service vehicle to do the job and keep inventory as required to perform the necessary repairs in the field
When on duty, will carry a cell phone and remain available at all times by end user or garage supervisor.
Complete a Mobile Mechanic Weekly Planner and submit it to the garage supervisor for review prior to the following scheduled workweek.
