Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Consultant – Cape Town (Child Protection)



Overview

The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Consultant will strengthen evidence-based programming, accountability, and learning across the organisation’s child protection initiatives. This role requires a practitioner with deep understanding of child centred development, safeguarding principles, and the complexities of working with vulnerable populations. The consultant will design and implement rigorous M&E systems that measure programme effectiveness, ensure compliance with donor and statutory requirements, and generate insights that improve outcomes for children, families, and communities.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical M&E expertise with sensitivity to ethical considerations, trauma-informed practice, and participatory approaches that elevate the voices of children and caregivers
