Montessori Education Assistant

The successful candidate

will work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to support student learning, independence, and well-being in alignment with Montessori principles. Position Details ● Role: Education Assistant (Elementary, Grades 1–3) ● Hours: 16–20 hours per week ● Wage: Starting at $22 per hour ● Start Date: As soon as possible Key Responsibilities ● Support individual and small groups of students under the direction of the classroom teacher ● Assist students with academic, social, and emotional needs ● Implement strategies and accommodations as outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs) ● Support self-regulation, independence, and positive behaviour ● Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment ● Communicate professionally with staff and follow school policies and procedures Required Qualifications ● Valid EA Certificate ● POPARD Certification (required) ● Fluency in spoken and written English ● Experience working with elemen...
