Serco supports the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) by operating the MAP patrol program. The program’s mission is to reduce traffic congestion, protect the motoring public, and support emergency response efforts by rapidly clearing disabled vehicles, roadway hazards, and providing traffic control at incident scenes.

MAP Operators function as an essential support element to law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, and other first responders. Operators are often first on scene and are expected to maintain situational awareness, follow established protocols, and operate with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
