mould designer

At CPI (KL), we're looking for an experienced plastic injection mould designer that is going to design high quality, robust and manufacturable plastic injection moulds with a strong focus on precision plastic parts, multi cavity moulds and moulds with hot runner systems. Your core competencies in tool design and troubleshooting of tooling problems will help us design to achieve precision tolerances with special measures during tool design and simulations to mitigate problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Moulds Design

• Design new injection moulds to produce plastic components that meet product specifications – using precision tolerance groups as per ISO 20457 as a guide.
• Understand customer drawings/ requirements à dimensions and tolerances.
• Participate in DFM and DFMEA discussions feasibility issues are addressed before tooling fabrication.
