GENERAL OBJECTIVE:

The Country Director (CD) is Solidarités International’s official representative in country and is in charge of the external representation and is in direct liaison with SI HQ. S/he proposes the country strategy and ensure its implementation when validated. S/he coordinates teams and ensures resources are properly allocated for the smooth running of the mission as per strategy and projects objectives. S/he is in charge of employees and goods security. 

THE MAIN CHALLENGES:

1- After a massive recent restructuration of mission due to BHA termination and reduction of activities => from staffs to 40/50 staffs in 2 months / from 3 bases to 1 coordination/operational base + 1 sub-base / reduction of all support costs (premisses, vehicles…) the mission is growing again to 3 bases with multiple donors and the CD is expected to manage this growth internally adapting the capacity and means for a sho...
