About the role

Brooke van Velden MP is looking for an MP Support Advisor to join her team in the Electorate/Community office in Tamaki, for 20 hours per week on a fixed term contract till November 2026. This is a wide and varied position providing community engagementand constituent services. You’ll be providing information and support to constituents, helping your MP engage with the community, and supporting your MP’s activities in the community. The ability to build strong and trusted relationships is key to being successful in this role.

What you will bring to the role

You’ll need to have strong relationship management and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work with a diverse range of people and organisations. You’ll be a key player in the MP’s support team based out of the Tamaki office, although at times will be required to work autonomously.
