Job Purpose
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results‐driven individual to join as an eHW Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.
In this role, and under direct supervision of the Power Electronics Mechanical Design Engineering Supervisor, the eHW Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will technically lead the Mechanical Design Team of Hybrid/Electric Inverter and Converter Systems for various global automotive customers.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical design of Hybrid/Electric Inverter and Converter Systems
Powertrain, Driveline and Packaging of electronics and circuit boards
Design mechanical components in compliance with BorgWarner Specs of Design
Design mechanical product and components to meet customer specifications
Perform, lead and coach mechanical analysis and verification
Manage thermal, vibration, thermal shock and tolerance stack requirements
Document mechanical design based on ASPICE process
