**A Brief Overview**
Under the supervision of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) Supervisor, the Lead MR Technologist is responsible for patient flow and the coordination of scheduling needs of the MR area. Oversees technical personnel in assigned work areas. Performs various MR procedures on patients using advanced MRI protocols and pulse sequences. This includes transferal of images, archiving, and performing of appropriate scanning protocols. Communicates with supervisor any unresolved issues, troubleshoots equipment, and records reports problems. Works under guidance of Radiologists and participates in resident training program.
