Job Description

Role Summary
The main duties of the job are to perform a wide range of MRI imaging examinations 
Ensure high standards of MRI imaging and patient care working in a Multidisciplinary team.
Independently assess and justify MRI referrals following Department policy and guidelines where appropriate.
Participate in the out of hours / on call / extended working day service as required.
Supervise and assist specialist and junior Radiographers and students.
Provide senior support to the MRI Lead and to provide senior cover during the Lead's absence.
Use professional discretion and experience to ensure that clinical practice is carried out correctly, professionally and within the legal framework.
Assist the MRI superintendent in developing the MRI service.
Manage a clinical workload and meet deadlines.
Undertake personal and professional development.
