Position
Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic MRI Technologist to join our Medical Imaging Department at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC.
About the Role
Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader (or designate), the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
This position is responsible for assisting the Radiologists during procedure, inputting patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS, and providing direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.
EKH is the only scanner in the EK Region and provides care for patients all through the region from Creston to Golden.
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as‑needed basis.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI procedures.
Ensure accurate data entry into RIS/PACS.
