- A degree or certification in content editing or a related field from a college or university accredited by a national or regional accreditation organization.
- Expert-level proficiency in English composition, grammar, punctuation, and spelling, sufficient to develop and edit materials such as instructions, manuals, handbooks, presentations, web content, social media posts, website articles, and interviews.
- Knowledge of web design methodologies focused on usability, content organization, and functionality.
