Municipal Building Inspector

Overview

Our Construction Phase Services group, located in Markham, Whitby, Toronto and Mississauga offices, is looking for a Municipal Building Inspector to perform inspection duties on property restoration projects in Port Hope, Ontario, including residential, commercial and municipally owned land. The ideal candidate will reside within 60 km of Port Hope, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Working safely and in conformance with GHD's Behaviour-Based Safety culture.
• Completing day-to-day inspections of Municipal/Residential Building projects in accordance with client terms of reference and manuals.
• Daily completion of project records / diary entries.
• Monitoring contractor work for compliance with project design and specifications.
