Position Overview

MUSC Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dedicated Colorectal Surgery team at Columbia Medical Center Downtown.

Work Setting

The successful applicant will work full‑time in a busy practice of three Colorectal Surgeons, primarily in the hospital setting, collaborating with gastroenterology, oncology, and a stable, experienced office support staff.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inpatient admissions and consultations to the Colorectal Surgery Service, documenting history, physical exam, labs, radiology, and developing assessment and plan.
• Provide continued care for colorectal surgery inpatients, communicating with nursing staff and families, following up on new tests, and assisting with discharge planning.
