Job Description
The Museum Security Monitor ensures a safe and secure environment at the Middlebury Museum of Art. This role involves overseeing programs that promote safety, protect property, and support the well-being of students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible, hourly position. The starting rate for the position is $18.81 per hour.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Patrols museum building and grounds, to promote safety, identify unsafe conditions and suspicious activity, document violations of college policy and state laws, responds to incidents and complaints as necessary.
+ Responds to emergencies, serious incidents, and requests for assistance. Serves as a first responder to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and conflicts on campus until Public Safety, Law enforcement entity and/or Emergency Servies department takes the lead as appropriate.
