Position Summary

Successful applicants for the “Music Psychotherapy Therapy Clinical Supervision” position will be eligible to provide supervision in MU508, MU610, and/or MU612. After applicants are hired, Laurier’s Experiential Placements Coordinator will confirm your availability and workload capacity in relation to your own schedule and the overall placement/internship timetable.

Responsibilities and Clinical Expectations

In these courses, students gain clinical experience in music psychotherapy with groups and with individual clients and learn how to sustain collaborative and respectful working relationships with interdisciplinary health care professionals. While demonstrating personal and professional integrity, students learn methods of clinical documentation, participate in professional development activities, and learn how to practice ethically according to relevant professional standards.
