Job Description
Become a Climate Strategy Intern with the Musqueam Indian Band and engage in developing community-centered climate initiatives. This full-time, paid internship is designed for youth passionate about environmental stewardship.
Targeted at individuals aged 16 to 30, this 8-week role involves working closely with the Title and Rights Division to analyze climate action initiatives and engage with the community on climate risks. You will document findings, collaborate with the Climate Action Working Group, and ensure that climate strategies reflect Musqueam cultural and environmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interview staff about existing climate initiatives
• Analyze collaborative opportunities within current initiatives
• Assist in organizing community engagement events
• Summarize insights from community engagement in reports
